Warranty

Every unit ships with the full manufacturer warranty. We are an authorized reseller for every brand we sell, which is why the warranty is honored in full. We file the claim with the manufacturer on your behalf.

Warranty by brand

These are typical terms. Check the spec sheet on the product page for the exact warranty on your specific model. Some commercial-grade cellar systems have extended terms.

If your unit arrives damaged

Damage in transit is a separate process from manufacturer warranty. Follow the steps in our Shipping and Returns policy: photograph the damage, note it on the driver's receipt, call (866) 430-2877 within forty-eight hours. We handle the carrier claim and ship a replacement at no cost.

If your unit fails under warranty

1. Email support@winecoolercollection.com or call (866) 430-2877 with your order number and a description of the failure
2. We open a manufacturer warranty claim on your behalf, usually same day
3. The manufacturer ships replacement parts or, for failures within the first thirty days, a full replacement unit
4. For installs that need a technician (most cellar cooling systems), the manufacturer assigns a regional service partner. We coordinate the visit

What is NOT covered

• Damage from improper installation (e.g. freestanding unit installed in a cabinet without clearance)
• Damage from power surges (use a surge protector on every unit)
• Cosmetic wear and tear
• Modifications or repairs by non-authorized parties
• Units purchased through a non-authorized reseller (this is why authorized matters)

Why authorized reseller matters

Grey-market sellers offer the same units at the same prices. The catch: the manufacturer will not honor the warranty on a unit sold outside their authorized channel. If your unit fails in year two, the grey-market price disappears and you pay full freight for the repair. We are authorized for every brand we sell. That is the entire reason.
