Compact Power with WhisperKOOL Platinum Mini Split Wall Mounted System
The WhisperKOOL Platinum Mini Split Wall Mounted Wine Cooling System cools cellars up to 500 cubic feet. The evaporator mounts on the cellar wall and the condenser sits up to 100 feet of line set away, indoors or outside with exterior housing, so the heat and the compressor noise leave the room entirely.
This is a split system and a licensed HVAC-R technician must install it. The refrigerant lines are charged in the field, and WhisperKOOL voids the warranty on any unit not installed by a qualified technician. Budget that labor alongside the unit price.
An electronic control system and a 2-speed fan switch let you trade cooling output against sound level. On low the evaporator and condenser each run at 46 dBA; on medium each runs at 52 dBA.
It holds a 55°F cellar with condenser air intake as high as 120°F, which is the widest ambient range in the Platinum line.
The KDT Digital Controller and Thermostat ships with a 50-ft. cable and works with standard and 24V thermostats.
Two condenser options are offered: the High Efficiency (H.E.) condenser and the Omega condenser. Electrical requirements differ between them, so confirm which variant you are ordering before your electrician quotes the circuit.
Cooling capacity: 1,666 to 2,492 BTU/h at 85°F condenser air intake, depending on fan speed and condenser.

Note: A qualified HVAC-R technician is required for installation. Failure to have the system installed by a qualified technician will void the warranty.

By selecting the 24V Thermostat Conversion Kit, you have acknowledged that the system will not be built with the standard WhisperKOOL control or liquid measuring bottle probe. You will have to source and purchase your own 24V smart thermostat to run the equipment. The WhisperKOOL Customer Satisfaction Team does not provide technical support for smart thermostats.

Comparing the 220V High Efficiency Condenser to the 110V Condensing Unit
WhisperKOOL states that the 220V High Efficiency condensers install more simply, run at a lower sound level, draw less power, and tolerate wider ambient extremes than the 110V condensers.
Confirm which condenser your order includes before the electrician quotes the circuit, since the two draw different supply.

Products purchased from Wine Cooler Collection are covered by our supplier’s exclusive warranty.
A limited 2-year product warranty is offered with all split systems, covering parts and labor, with up to an additional one year grace period for installation. The warranty starts at the date of purchase and is not activated until a Product Warranty Checklist has been submitted and approved by WhisperKOOL. Installation by anyone other than a qualified HVAC-R technician voids it.
