WhisperKOOL Phantom 8000 for Powerful Fully Ducted Wine Cooling
The WhisperKOOL Phantom 8000 Fully Ducted Wine Cooling System holds cellars up to 2,000 cubic feet at 55°F. The unit itself sits in a mechanical room and can run up to 25 duct feet from the cellar, so nothing mechanical lives in the wine room.
Because the refrigeration circuit is sealed and factory charged, there is no field refrigerant work. That means no licensed HVAC-R technician is required, unlike the Platinum Split and Quantum lines.
With multiple ducting configurations, you can route airflow to suit your cellar layout. The remote KDT Plus controller with a 50-ft. cable lets you monitor and adjust temperature from outside the cellar.
The Phantom 8000 has a corrosion-resistant drip tray and a black powder-coated finish, and it holds a 55°F cellar with condenser air intake as high as 110°F, which suits warm climates and unconditioned mechanical rooms.
Cooling capacity: 6,025 BTU/h at 85°F condenser air intake.
A UV-C lighting system is available as an add-on. It needs an extra 4 inches of side clearance. Details in the section below.

Sound level: WhisperKOOL does not publish a decibel rating for the Phantom line. Ask us and we will put the question to the manufacturer in writing.
Installation: No licensed HVAC-R technician is required. The system ships factory charged with no field refrigerant work. You will need a dedicated 115V 20 amp circuit, duct runs, and a gravity drain line.
*PLEASE NOTE: WhisperKOOL does not provide smart thermostat. By selecting the 24V Thermostat Conversion Kit, you have acknowledged that the system will not be built with the standard WhisperKOOL control or liquid measuring bottle probe. You will have to source and purchase your own 24V smart thermostat to run the equipment. The WhisperKOOL Customer Satisfaction Team does not provide technical support for smart thermostats.

Products purchased from Wine Cooler Collection are covered by our supplier’s exclusive warranty.
Warranty: 2 years parts and 2 years labor, from WhisperKOOL. The warranty starts at the date of purchase and is activated once a Product Warranty Checklist has been submitted and approved by WhisperKOOL. A grace period of up to six months is allowed for installation.

Returns & damage
- 30 days from receipt, for any reason.
- Items must arrive back in “Like New” condition with all original packaging and accessories.
