Every unit on this page is rated by its manufacturer to cool a wine cellar of 2,000 cubic feet up to 3,500 cubic feet. Ratings in this band run from 2,000 to 3,000 cu ft.

Measure your cellar's length by width by height and compare the result against a unit's rated capacity. Those ratings assume a room that is fully insulated and sealed with a proper vapour barrier. Glass, stone and concrete all raise the cooling load, so a cellar with any of them needs more capacity than its raw volume suggests.

Most systems at this size are split systems, which a qualified HVAC-R technician must install. Having them installed by anyone else voids the warranty.
